Are you comfortable? Right now, in your warm room, relaxing after a long day of school or work? Are you too tired to do anything? Go ahead, sit, relax, enjoy it, you earned it! After (x) hours of work/school, you deserve to sit down and watch your favorite TV show and play the new Halo, Call of Duty, or whatever game you love. Sadly, after that show, after that final kill, after that final high, you have to return to reality. And to some, that reality is a bitch. But hey, you can return to your alternative reality tomorrow! No problem, right?! Wrong..
After a few weeks of this repetitive mundane life, you begin to get tired of it. The happiness you once received soon fades away. Trust me, it never lasts. What I am here to tell you is; do not settle for the alternative reality, the artificial happiness, the rubber society that we have collectively created. If you are not happy with your current situation, change your situation! Do what you want to do! Not what your parents want, not what society wants, and not what your friends want. You are your only limitation. Follow the inner voice that is you.
News flash! You are a part of a great big, vast world that is within potentially an infinite Universe which is also potentially intertwined in a Multiverse, all simultaneously working together in this moment that we call the Now. What you are currently doing in the moment is what the entire Multiverse is doing right Now. You should NOT settle for the next video game or the new Dancing With the Stars to spend that Now. Just because it’s cloudy out, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go outside. Life is grand. Explore it!
As far as I can tell, we only live once. Do you want to leave this rotating crystalized blue rock in the void, inhabited by life, life that you are, and that seems to be the only life in this Universe (doubtful), with not even living that precious life? For the sake of humanity and the Earth in general please, follow that inner voice and do what YOU want to do. Life is here for one thing, to live.
So….LIVE! Choose wisely what you do, because if your life truly flashes before your eyes when you die, you might think twice about what you did.
