Remember Where You Are

It is important to be within reality, to be grounded, to be here fully with your environment. A veil, an image of our own selves and our world has been cast upon us. We need to watch this illusion, see it play its game, and return to what is, return to the Earth, and return to ourselves. Be comfortable with being uncomfortable, with being out of control, and accepting what takes place. Once this is done, can we finally open our eyes to the world for the first time. To see into our very nature. For you are your environment and your environment is you, is us, and if we internally shut-off to ourselves, we externally shut-off to our environment. The next stage for humanity, the next stage of your personal evolution is to unite with yourself internally and your universe externally. Know that this is you, it is all you. This starts with Earth, our home, our planet, our life-source, it starts now.

On a daily basis, humans struggle with their environment as if it is a hostile, separate entity that they are not in control of. Be with that feeling. Let it happen, surrender to it, surrender to yourself, surrender to fear. The world is you and you are it. Become one with yourself, with your environment, the Earth, and your experience. Your thoughts, your feelings, is the universe knowing/experiencing itself. Your entire life has been on this Earth, has been within the Universe, been within the realm of this. Be where you are, now. Be with the Earth, your home, this now mechanical jungle spinning through space. This is where you live, this is who you are; with everything on it, with all of the "happenings" within the singular, extended eternal "happening".. all right now. Be present with your body, breath, mind, and connection to the so-called "outer" world. Notice how you label it, pick it apart, and try to understand it, but all attempts are futile. To know life is to be with it and to let it go. Life is always on the move, so move with it. That is faith, true faith. Through this knowing of the unknown, you see that you are always connected and always were connected. This is understanding at the deepest level; not intellectual understanding, but a certain intuitive presence.

You grew out of it and it continues to grow out of you. Feel this connection, feel gravity upon you, keeping you locked to the earth like a magnet, feel yourself falling deeper and deeper into whatever connects you to the Earth, to whatever you rest upon. Go deeper and deeper into this. This is who you are. Everything you experience within this experience that you are currently having at this very moment is you. Nothing can escape that. Whatever is is, and yet, we live our lives as if what is is somehow lacking. We are in a constant struggle, always needing to be "there" instead of "here". And yet, here is all we have and ever will have. You can never be "there" for once "there" comes, it will then be here, and then another "there" appears, out of nothing, out of the void, out of you. This idea of there being a "there" is causing the unnatural shift humanity has taken upon the planet. This idea of obtaining something in the future for one's own self worth and mental image is an illusion so persistent that it has taken root in our world and is slowly destroying it. You are what you experience and what you experience is the totality of the universe, spontaneously shifting from within itself. Please, watch it happen for yourself. Do not take mine or anyone else's word for it. It is all apparent, no need to strain to see it, simply surrender to it.

We are still animals within the jungle. The jungle, the woods, the earth, has just been "upgraded", modernized, developed, hurt. The external world ripples from the internal and vise-versa.  The separation of the inner and outer, the game of which we play, is just that, a play, an act, an illusion. But the most glorious illusion. And to that, we surrender to it with awe. Still we think that the external world is somehow more powerful, more important, than the internal. That it pushes us around, like we are a puppet with no strings. The Earth needs us to be there for it. If we provide for it, it will provide for us. Look around you. The trees and creatures are all still here (for what remains). You are still here, you have been here this entire time. Since the spawn of your existence you have never experienced anything else besides this. With all of the humans, all of the creatures, all of the awe-experiencing, loving beings; all of the different perspectives of the same thing, all taking place upon this organic, breathing rock, floating in the cosmic sea. We are a pebble, tossed with its brothers and sisters into an endless, bottomless, eternally flowing river, with no destination insight. We are now given an opportunity. It is our choice to follow the path of nature, to re-unite with our true selves, face our fears, and restore the Earth to a more natural, harmonious, beautiful place that we all know in the depths of our hearts is possible. Or we can continue on this current path of "progress", where more is somehow considered better on a finite planet. A path of nearly schizophrenic, fear mongering behavior through this current cultural medium that we all blindly follow. Everyone follows and all you do is follow too, so really, no one is following through. Be a beacon of light. Be that spark of change that we so badly need. Voice your concerns, say what you feel, and do what you love, always. Do not let others regiment your life. You are life, so live it.

“We have to create culture, don't watch TV, don't read magazines, don't even listen to NPR. Create your own roadshow. The nexus of space and time where you are now is the most immediate sector of your universe, and if you're worrying about Michael Jackson or Bill Clinton or somebody else, then you are dis-empowered, you're giving it all away to icons, icons which are maintained by an electronic media so that you want to dress like X or have lips like Y. This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. That is all cultural diversion, and what is real is you and your friends and your associations, your highs, your orgasms, your hopes, your plans, your fears. And we are told 'no', we're unimportant, we're peripheral. 'Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that.' And then you're a player, you don't want to even play in that game. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that's being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.”
